When it comes to beauty or makeup, the key to nailing Korean makeup is, all about that dewy and flawless skin, and not to mention the straight eyebrows too, so kept the rest of it quite simple using just a few makeup products which you can easily get from leading cosmetics stores, to recreate this look.

Here’s how to create this Korean Style Everyday Look step by step and what products I used throughout the whole tutorial.

How to Create Korean Style Everyday Makeup Tutorial (Step by Step)

After applying moisturizer and sunblock, using Erborian CC Creme and blended it in with using fingers. This is to create an even skin tone as base before going in with BB Cushion. And the thing I find it interesting is, although the product that dispenses from the tube is white in color but as blended it out, it turned to nude-skin color, which makes it perfect for light cover up.

Next up is Sephora Wonderful Cushion Foundation. just use the sponge that comes with it and pad it all over the face. Use cushion because the coverage is very natural and gives a right amount of dewy-ness to the skin without looking too greasy, especially on my T-zone. And it can’t fault it and it’s a huge recommendation of mine.

Since Korean beauty is all about the glow, use pad the Moonshot Moonflash Cushion SPF 50+ on the cheek bone, brow bone and nose bridge, to get the glowy result and also as a highlighter. Do bear in mind that, the colour of Moonflash Cushion is slightly white-ish, so a little goes a long way. Just pick up a small amount on of the product and pad it gently over you cheek bones then blend it out until you get the result you want. If you start off with too much of products, then you might have to touch up with BB Cushion to blend it in.

On to the brows, I used Maybelline Brow Define and Fill Duo. First, I’ll outline the brow, making sure you get a straight brow outline before filling it.

Then the eyes were finished with NARS Eyeshadow Pencil all over the eye lid as a base before applying slight brown shade to the crease of the lids and blended it with a fluffy brush. Use stick to a very neutral shades since this is an everyday makeup tutorial. Just FYI, I also used the Dolly Wink eyeliner and Shiseido Full Lash Volume Mascara here.

Okay it’s time to add some colour to the cheek with the Sephora Wonderful Cushion Healthy Glow Cream Blush. The sponge applicator is brilliant, all you need to do is squeeze it and pad it. You can never get wrong with this direct application. I find that the colour is subtle and glowy, certainly great for everyday makeup.

Finally on to the signature Korean gradient lips. First dab the Benefit Cosmetics Benetint on the lips and allowing it to dry for a few seconds, to create a base for the gradient lips. Then going in with Sephora Wonderful Cushion Lip Cream, but this time only dab it on the inner part of the lips instead, for that gradient lips look. You can use the lip cream on its own, it applies a bright red tone to the lips with a semi-matte finish that lasts for pretty substantial amount of time.

So this is the Korean Style Everyday Makeup Tutorial. Did it inspire you to try out the look? 🙂
